I mostly enjoy the roulettes in FFXIV (going all the way down to the beginner dungeons and losing most of your abilities is kind of a drag), and I think a similar system could work in WoW. I guess upvote for agree or give me some feedback if you care to? I think the new leveling changes in Shadowlands might already make it super easy, tied in with the Party Sync feature we have for quests, but I was thinking it could be a cool option for Dungeon/LFR content. I don’t know if it’s something people would care to have, but I think it’d be nice to be able to queue with our lower level friends into dungeons on our mains to try and help people get into the game. In FFXIV they have a system that’s called roulettes, it basically scales you down to the level of something, gives you EXP, some gil (gold), and the end-game “gear currency”.įunctionally it kind of works like Call-to-Arms works in the sense that it gives incentive to queue up for things that could line you up with lower level players to help them get some queues, additionally it lets you experience older content naturally in a way that isn’t farming mogs and mounts (not that there’s anything wrong with that). Wanted to see if anyone else thinks this system in FFXIV has a place in WoW.
